Rachel Cummings

​President

​Rachel is a co-founder and Executive Director of the organization. She was born and raised in Alaska as a fourth generation Alaskan to a family that has its roots in homesteading and farming. She has been around farm animals her entire life and decided to stop eating them in September 2013 and has been a passionate animal advocate ever since. 

​Michael Wight

Sanctuary Manager

​Mike is a co-founder and the Sanctuary Manager. He moved to Alaska in 1996 from South Africa and has lived here ever since. His bachelors degree in business management and marketing from the University of Alaska is a helpful tool in the management of Forget Me Not Farm Sanctuary. 

​Janelle Wight

​Board Member

​Janelle is the board secretary for the organization who has worked in the non-profit sector for the last six years as a grant writer. She brings this unique and invaluable skill with her as a Board Member of Forget Me Not Farm Sanctuary. 

​Sara Swimeley

Board Member

Sara has always cared about animals and in 2014 she decided to align her food choices with her love of animals by first becoming vegetarian and later vegan in 2019. She has a background in finance and banking and graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage with a bachelors degree in economics.
